Ella Fitzgerald and Louis Armstrong top Rihannia and Chris Brown any day.

I recall, when Lena Horne died a little while ago & a few of the old heads from R's blog wrote that ole cliched phrase"they don't make like that anymore".

IIRC, there was even a blog post on a commeter's blog(I forgot who). Anywho, zhe blogger posted a Lena Horne song. Well twas like love at first hear for Chic Noir since that day. Folks, this is another song that I dig from that longago era.

Ella Fitzgerald can chew and eat a whole lot of these girls for breakfast. Rihannia isn't bad. But she's no Ella.

I like Rihanna but so not Ella. Musicians are not making music like they used.
P.S.
I'm coming to London Aug 24. Can you give me any tips on what to do and see. thank you

Hi! I realise that this post was written several months ago, but I stumbled across your blog and just had to tell you how much I agree with you! Wouldn't mind a little summertime right now, but luckily autumn has lots of charm. By the way I am also taller than most - high five, haha. Hug from Paris!

Chic, you once wrote this to me:

"chic noir 07/27/2010 at 5:42 pm
Although you’re completely wrong;
we must agree to disagree.

Tupac spits more venom in one verse
AH my friend, don’t you get it. I’m a woman, I don’t like venom. I like unicorns and rainbow stickers

speaking of rainbows, tupac bring it buddy."

I know you were talking about the original Pac, but I would love to hear you expand on what you say above.

Still around Chic?

How do you like this guy? He's part Dutch, part Indonesian, and I think he looks much better with his natural dark brown hair than when its dyed blonde for modeling;
